Abstract (EN)
Nursing is difficult and stressful job. Is based on the foundation of human relationships so nurses have a high self-confidence, be able to express themselves in a way that is good and sufficient and it is necessary to communicate effectively. them to be so self-create their identity must or must be developed. With the realization of these people, and the environment itself is more sensitive approach in bilateral relations and to providing healthy individuals become more consistent. In this study, the nurses ' self improvement and the improvement of self-esteem of the values is required within a variety of research and literature is presented. In this study, working nurses' self-esteem levels and significant differences according to the variables whether or not investigated. Research in 2013, at Diyarbakır Maternity and Children's Hospital which was carried out on 269 nurses Rosenberg to collect data from the study, developed by the self-esteem scale and demographic questionnaire consisted of 14 questions has been used. Research nurses' self-esteem levels as a result of significant differences were identified according to many variables. Nurses' self-esteem, self-configuring should aim at improving before and nurses should be trained in this direction. Key Word : The nurses' occupational choice, the nurses' self-esteem and factorsaffecting the profession of nurses.
