Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of training given to nurses using different methods (training with simulation, training with simulation and reminder learning material and web-based training) on platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) application in wound care. The sample of this quasi-experimental study, conducted in a pre-test, post-test, and re-test design, consisted of a total of 68 nurses. The research was carried out in three separate groups: simulation training (ST), simulation training with reminder learning material (STRLM), and web-based training (WT). In the ST group, the PRF application was explained face-to-face, and the practice was demonstrated on a wound simulation model. In the STRLM group, in addition to the ST group, learning materials were sent to the nurses within a month after the training. In the WT group, a website with the address tzfegitim.net was created. The site included a PRF application training video, training materials, and forms. In the study, the Nurse Introduction Form, PRF Knowledge, Application, and Evaluation Form, Individual Innovativeness Scale (IIS), Training Evaluation Form (TEF), and Web-Based Learning Platform Evaluation Scale (WBLPES) were used. Expert opinion was obtained, and statistical analyses were conducted before applying the forms. As a result of the study, the Cronbach's Alpha (CA) was found to be 0,907 for the PRF Knowledge, Application, and Evaluation Form, 0,931 for the total CA of the Training Evaluation Form (TEF) and 0,883 for the Individual Innovativeness Scale (IIS). In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics, Wilcoxon Signed Rank test, Paired Sample T-Test analysis, and Kruskal-Wallis H tests were used. Consequently, based on the pre-test and post-test scores of PRF, it was found that the ST and STRLM methods were effective on the participants and that the innovative method of PRF application training increased the level of individual innovativeness (p<0,05). According to the comparison of the re-test and post-test scores of PRF, it was found that the WT participation group was not effective, the PRF knowledge in the ST group did not change over time, and the reminder learning material applied after the post-test in the STRLM group was effective and increased the participants' PRF knowledge level.
