Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the training program for improving the knowledge and approaches of nurses in the Tikar Province of Iraq against toxoplasmosis in pregnant women. Within the scope of the study, 200 nurses who participated in the training program were interviewed, their opinions about the training were collected and evaluated with the prepared data form. There is also the possibility of miscarriage and abortion-related curettage in pregnant women diagnosed with toxoplasmosis in the Tikar region. Therefore, educating nurses on this issue and increasing their awareness will prevent such undesirable interventions. In this context, our study is important in terms of enabling nurses to gain awareness. The numbers and percentages of the data obtained in the study were evaluated. The effectiveness of the training by the nurses was examined. As a result of the study, it was concluded that the effectiveness of the education is high, on the basis of numbers and percentages..
