Abstract (EN)

Nurses face many risks and dangers. The most important of these risks are infections and stab wounds. Nurses; it is at risk for the transmission of bloodborne pathogens due to needle sting, percutaneous injuries or splashing. At the same time, they can catch infectious diseases related with factors such as hepatitis B (HBV), hepatitis C (HCV) and human deficiency virus (HIV), which can cause significant mortality and morbidity following exposure to infected blood and body fluids for occupational reasons. . Nurses can infect these patients with the disease and other health workers. In this study, it is aimed to examine the knowledge, attitude and behaviors of nurses for safe use of cutting tools. The research is descriptive and the hospital will consist of intensive care units, clinics, operating rooms and nurses working in the emergency department. Two different forms will be used as data collection tool. The-Person Information Form Tıbbi which contains the introductory characteristics of the nurses formed by the researcher by scanning the literature and the attitudes of the nurses towards the safe use of the cutting tools will be determined.
