The average age of the nurses who participated in the study was 36.18±8.83. 90.4 % of them were female and 30.8 % of them were working for 1-5 years. The nurses' average Organizational Cynicism Scale scores was 37.98±10.71, their average Organizational Commitment total score was 52.60±8.40. It was found that Cronbach Alpha of Organizational Cynicism Scale was highly reliable with 0.915 and Organizational Commitment Scale had low reliability Cronbach Alpha with 0,686. As a result of the study, it was concluded that the nurses who had 1-5 years of experience, male nurses, the nurses who felt themselves comfortable in their workplaces and the ones who felt themselves belonging to their workplaces had lower organizational cynicism and the nurses who were working in intensive care units had higher organizational cynicism. It was determined that years of experience affected the level of organizational commitment.
