Özet (EN)

Objective: This study aimed to determine the stigma levels of nurses towards psychiatric diseases and to examine their attitudes. Materials and Methods: For this purpose, nurses were asked to data were collected using the Mental Illness Stigma Scale. The sample of the study consists of 255 nurses. It was determined that the data obtained in the study conformed to the normal distribution, and therefore, single-factor analysis of variance and independent T test were used in the analysis of the data. Descriptive statistics were used for the nurses' stigmatization levels and attitudes. Findings: As a result of the analysis of the data in the study, it was determined that the participants mostly answered "I am undecided" for the three sub-dimensions determined and the demographic variables did not cause a significant difference for the three sub-dimensions (p>0.05). Results: As a result of the study, the stigma levels of the participants were found to be average. In this study, It was also determined that demographic variables did not have a significant effect on attitudes and behaviors. Keywords: Attitude, Psychiatric Diseases, Stigma, Healthcare, Nurse
