The study of work anxiety at students of faculty of nursing and relationship with the demographic factors: Example of Ege University Faculty of Nursing

There are a variety of purposes in people's lives. One of the most important of these goals is to have a job. Having a job is far more than the meeting the needs necessary requirements for the continuity of human life. To working is meant to meet social and psychological needs, to have a productive life. However, the economic crisis leads to unemployment is becoming a major problem not only in Turkey but also in many countries. Unemployment is a major problem economically and socially. Especially in developing countries, excess of the young population and failure to establish adequate employment opportunities may lead to increase in unemployment and the formation of business concerns after training life among young people. In this study, it is intended to whether the students of Ege University Faculty of Nursing have the business concerns, if it is found what the concerns' level is, and it is investigated that the students' business concerns depend on their demographic characteristics. By the data evaluated with related analysis, the hypotheses have been analyzed. According to results, the demographic characteristics of the students is not effective on the level of trait concern, but some of the demographics characteristics such as the status of thinking that students remain unemployed, the status of choosing by requesting the nursing department and the number of children in the family are effective on work concerns. It has been determined that there is a relationship in the same direction between the level of unemployement concerns and level of trait concern of the students of Nursing Faculty; unemployment concern increased, the trait concern for life is also increased.
