Abstract (EN)

This study is developed both to measure how the doctors, nurses and patients that appeal to policlinic perceive nursing profession and to determine their views and ideas about nursing profession. In line with this purpose, in February,2013 , Questionnaire forms improved upon personal information forms and literature reviews were conducted to 450 personnels working in two private hospitals , including 170 policlinic patients, 100 doctors and 180 nurses. In this study statistical analysis are done with NCSS (Number Cruncher Statistical System) 2007 Statistical Software (Utah, USA) It is found out that nursing profession is mostly preferred due to high employment opportunities, nurses are pleased with their job and they can do their independent practices in sufficient ways. It is determined that the impressions about the nursing services are generally positive. It is seen that the doctors and the patients state that the quality of nursing services vary not by their education but by their personalities. It is determined that the patients regard nursing profession as women?s profession. Doctors and patients ragard nursing as a profession that depend on doctorship. It is determined that doctors and patients don?t trust the nurses when they do their job without the supervision of a doctor. In order to bring the point of views about nursing profession to a more positive level , the society and doctors should be informed about nursing education, professional roles , dependent and independenet functions of nurses.
