Examination of handball, basketball and volleyball classifying referees' work satsifaction levels satisfaction

This study was performed to determine the level of job satisfaction of referees (gender,age, marital status, class status, branch, other job, duration of referee, duration of playing thebranch, and revenue status) on totally 222 Handball, Basketball and Volleyball refrees whoworking in federation leagues.SPSS pocket program was used to statistical analyses. Measuring tool has two sectionsin the study. In the first section, there were questions intented for personel characteristics ofrefrees. Also second section had a short form of the Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scaleconsisting of 20 questions.It had been shown that there is no significant difference between gender, maritalstatus, class status, other job, duration of referee, and revenue status of refrees. But jobsatisfaction levels according to gender had a meaningfull. The reason for this, job satisfactionshows an increase together with gender in addition to experience, reward, change of class, andintegration of their job.It had been shown that there is a significant difference between job satisfaction levelsaccording to duration of playing the branches, also majority of referees had played himselfbranch previously according to duration of playing the branches.A significant difference was found refree?s branches between job satisfaction levels.This difference had occured between Basketball and Volleyball refrees and HandballVolleyball refrees.Majority of referees had income status in middle level.
