Abstract (EN)

There are some studies about elevation of troponin levels in acute hepatobiliary inflammations despite the fact that it is not understood yet. Differential diagnosis should be addressed in patients with acute coronary syndrome, since acute abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, hypo/hypertension complaints are mimicking with this syndrome. This study was planned to determine whether troponin levels were high and this elevation was statistically significant. Study was performed to scan data between June-2015 to June-2016 in 69 patients' record. Following evaluation of patients, 6 pts out of 69 had positive troponin levels (mean troponin level was 1,91±0,28), whereas 63 had negative troponin levels which was statistically significant (p<0.001). The comparison of patients with positive and negative troponin levels, positivity of troponin levels were not significant (p>0.005), whereas negativity of troponin levels were more significant (p<0.001). As a result; troponin positivity can be seen in patients with acute hepatobiliary inflammation, should be elucidate is not from cardiac pathology. The treatment of patients should be planned to their primary disease. Key words: Acute hepatobiliary inflammation, Acute coronary syndrome, elevation troponin-I
