Abstract (EN)

Today, companies attach importance to recycling activities in order to reduce their increasing costs. The fact that companies focus on recycling activities in order to reduce their costs and obtain economic returns also affects the logistics sector. In addition to the product distributions made in the logistics sector in recent years, there is also the collection of products from customers. Re-processing and re-evaluating the products collected from customers makes it mandatory for logistics companies to use their networks in the most effective way. The simultaneous execution of collection and distribution operations at customer locations provides benefits in terms of both more efficient use of vehicles and cost. In these distribution and collection processes, which are carried out in real life problems, heterogeneous fleets with vehicles with different characteristics such as capacity, speed and suitability can be used. In this thesis, the real life application of Heterogeneous vehicle routing problem with simultaneous pickup and delivery problem is discussed. The contribution of the routes obtained by using the Annealing Simulation Algorithm to the transportation processes in the company where the thesis study is carried out is evaluated.
