Abstract (EN)

The concept of Mimesis has been a topic of discussion in art works from ancient times to the present day. The debates of Plato and Aristotle on the concept of nature's mimesis continue to this day, albeit with changes in form and content that are appropriate to this era, where dialectical materialist and scientific worldviews are dominant. Since the Modernism era, these discussions have intensified and taken on different forms in every art movement. As artists have become increasingly uncomfortable with the tradition of drawing inspiration from and imitating nature, abstractions have emerged as a new form of expression. This discomfort has grown and reached its highest levels in contemporary art practices during the conceptual art period. Despite the explicit claims of nature's exclusion in modern art movements such as Futurism, Suprematism, and Constructivism, nature continues to reveal itself in its entirety across all their works. This study is based on the main idea that human beings are a part of nature and that nothing they create can escape the natural concept of mimesis, whether they like it or not. Works of art have been created to support this thesis and defend this idea.
