Analysis and text criticism of Hezârfen Hüseyin Efendi's work entitled Tenkîhü't Tevârih-i Mülûk

One of the most important historians of the XVII. th century, Hâzerfen Hüseyin Efendi, known for his pseudonym 'Hâzerfen' and to deserve this name who has written works in the fields of medical,history, language, geography, state organization and Sufism each of which requires special expertise wrote Tenkihü't Tevarih-i Mülük which is one of his most important works by making use of many works including western sources. In short, the book is a general history book and consists of an introduction and nine chapters, sections in chapters and two epilogue. The author, who prefers to use a simple work in his work, conveyed the historical and political events of his time by adding his own opinions and did not hesitate to criticize the administrators from time to time. In this study, Tenkihü't Tevarih-i Mülük's the archive number of 3797 manuscript copy in Grand National Assembly of Turkey, National Palace Library Caliph Abdülmecid Master Collection, the archive number of 137 manuscript copy in the French National Library Türkish Manuscript Collections and the archive number of 3 manuscript copy in Turkish manuscript collection of the Egyptian National Library were tried to be established a single copy by comparison. The difference between the accepted as the main copy the archive number of 3797 manuscript copy in Grand National Assembly of Turkey, National Palace Library Caliph Abdülmecid Master Collection and others were indicated in the annotations.
