Abstract (EN)

With this thesis, it is aimed to produce solutions related to the exhaust systems that are used to minimize emission and noise factors in vehicles, what kind of structure they have in hybrid cars and possible problems. With the increase in the world population, advances in technology are gaining speed day by day in order to meet human needs. Therefore, these developments bring along negative effects as well as some positive effects. Environmental pollution is at the top of these problems, and air pollution has an important place among environmental problems. The role of motor vehicles, whose number is increasing day by day, is very important in environmental pollution. In this study, the problems caused by the temperature factor that is effective in the working conditions of the catalytic converter in hybrid cars and related analysis and experiments are mentioned. As a result of the analyzes, 2 different methods were found for the reactions in the catalytic converter. With hydrocarbon absorbent traps and activated carbon fiber boxes, the reaction is aimed to take place in full efficiency.
