Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to investigate the standardized uptake values (SUV) of radioactive markers in the applications of hybrid imaging system which is formed by using two different imaging methods, PET and CT, and to determine the clinical effectiveness. SUV evaluation was performed by drawing the area of interest in order to be able to perform SUV evaluation on patient images obtained from the BIOGRAPH TRUE POINT 16 PET-CT. To determine the effectiveness of the parameters affecting the SUV value, the weight of each recorded patient was recorded and the importance of the activity injected into the patient was examined. The activity of the radioactive substances used was measured on the SIEMENS INTEGO dose calibrator. The amount of contamination of the radioactive material injected into the patient through the skin was measured and recorded using thermoluminescence dosimeters. On the whole of the cases, the injection time, the waiting time until the shooting, the imaging time were measured and the effects on the SUV value were evaluated. As a result of the study, the significance of the accuracy and accuracy of the parameters affecting the SUV, which is a semi-quantitative assessment, was discussed. The dosimetric studies within the scope of the thesis have been carried out in the Department of Nuclear Medicine (AD) of Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine.
