Abstract (EN)

Our energy requirement increases day by day with the huge effect of the monotone increasing world population, urbanization and industrialization. As a result, the needs for the energy cannot be satisfied with the suitable resources. For the supply of requested energy, the governments investigate different suitable energy sources. For this reason, technology develops rapidly. With the progress of technology vehicle density increases and this causes the atmospheric release of harmful gases like carbon. Because of the running short of the energy sources; oil prices increase, the energy prices become higher, and the using of the harmful materials such a crude oil increase the global warming. The governments studies for the purpose of taking precautions against these situations are aimed at reducing these detrimental effects. In this context they put up some legal arrangement and allow the production of hybrid vehicles in the direction of their studies even they debate these vehicles. In this direction a study is carried out towards being developed a model towards choosing hybrid vehicles with the method of multiple criteria decision making. By this means, it is aimed to choose the most suitable vehicle under the most applicable conditions. In this study, traditional TOPSIS model and Operating Window approach are applied. As a result of the study, instead of the classical TOPSIS method, the use of operating window in critical criteria can yield more accurate sorting results.
