Abstract (EN)

In thıs study, 4-vinly benzylalcohol (VBA) monomer was synthesized by using 4-vinly benzylchloride according to literature synthesized monomer (4-vinly benzylalcohol) was acylated with 2-bromizobutryl bromide and 4-(2-bromoizobutroyl methyl) styrene monomer was obtained. Not only homopolymers of monomers but also copolymer series of [P(BIBMS-ko-HEMA)] and [P(BIBMS-ko-VBA)] were prepared at different molar rates by using commercially sold HEMA with BIBMS and VBA monomer. The synthesis of homo- and copolymers was carried out by free radical polymerization method. 1H, 13C-NMR, FT-IR analysis techniques were used to characterize construction of produced monomer and polymers. Also, thermal behaviors of polymers were measured by DSC and TGA. Synthesized copolymers are amphiphilic due to its hydroxyl, carbonyl and bromide groups. It has been investigating how it changes in electrical properties of thermal stability, and Tg of copolymer systems as the copolymers increases and these are associated with copolymer constructions. Electrical properties of copolymers prepared such as dielectric constant dielectric loss factor, tan the temperature coefficient of permittivity (TCP) and conductivity depending and temperature and frequency were estimated and associated with constructions of copolymers.
