Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, an original research was carried out on the strength-based computer aided design of a hydraulically effective soil excavation machine (scraper) used in crop production, specific to the research area of agricultural machinery design and manufacture. During the research process, a unique computer-aided design and engineering application algorithm was established that can contribute to the development and improvement of agricultural tool and machine designs. Technically, in excavation machines used in Turkey, generally scraping, transporting and unloading operations are performed by using more than one movement mechanism. In the study, the production-ready design outputs of a practical and useful trailed type soil excavation machine, which can be realized with a single mechanism with the help of the originally designed mechanism of the hydraulically effective motion system, have been revealed. After the design outputs obtained, a three-dimensional 1:15 scale prototype model of the machine was manufactured using the additive manufacturing technique, and the design was physically evaluated and the manufacturing/technical drawings were prepared, where the first prototype in 1:1 scale could be manufactured.
