Abstract (EN)
Hypertension is one of the most important risk factors in cardiovascular diseases. Renin angiotensin system (RAS) is a central organizer of the cardiovascular and renal functions and it plays a key role in many cardio renal diseases. It?s arised that RAS plays an important role in cardiovascular and renal functions and in ilness conditions and it?s a more complicated system than it?s thouht. It?s seen that new found ACE2 which is homologous with ACE, localized on X chromosome, orders RAS in a negative way. ACE 2 separates AngI and Ang II to inactive Ang1-9 and Ang1-7. As a result of the genetical researches ACE2 is associated with hypertension and 4 different nucleotide polymorphism regions are defined. These are, A?G in the 1075 region of intron 1, G?A in the 8790 region of intron 3, C?G in the 28330 region of intron 11, G?C in the 36787 region of intron 16.In this study it will be aimed to determine whether ACE2 gene polymorphism and hypertension have a relationship or not. Also, the aim is to show A?G (nt 1075) and int 3 G?A (nt 8790) polymorphisms existance on the ACE2 gene in 158 individuals with primer hypertension and 163 individuals with normal blood pressure.
