Introduction to loglinear regression methods and an application about methods used in modern medical science education

SUMMARY INTRODUCTION TO LOGLINEAR REGRESSION METHODS AND AN APPLICATION ABOUT METHODS USED IN MODERN MEDICAL SCIENCE EDUCATION An inquiry has been applied to the education staff member, (intörn) doctors and fifth class medicine students at faculty of medicine about methods used in modem medical science education based on the medical education and applications they have received and a loglinear analysis method has been applied to the data received from these 370 people. Loglinear models is a method used for investigating the relation between categorical variables. The analysis of diagonal tables by loglinear models corresponds to the variance analysis and multi regression analysis that are linear models for continous variables. 45.7 % (169 people) of the subjects have answered to the question "Which method is the best for medical science education?" by suggesting addition of "interactive medical science education application" to "the present integrated system". Ones who want to continue with present applied integrated system are about 4.6 % (17 people) of the sampling. Furthermore, 2.2 % of the sampling haven't given an answer to the question "Which idea must precede at the medical science education in Turkey?" while 71.6 % (265 people) have stated the necessity for giving importance to the protective medical science education. Finally, X10 - X12 - X13 variables have been used with the analysis of linear regression variables. The proposed final model classification after this analysis is dual crosswise of X10 - X12 and X10 - X13. The eliminated crosswise is X12 - X13 pair. The results that we will suggest to the experts interested with modern medical science education are those. There will be evaluations about the results of the variables stated above without considering subjective evaluations about modern medical science education and the integrated medical science education applied at our university.
