Six Sigma Method is an approach that gives importance to the concepts of recovery, restructuring and managing of cases, data, usage of statistical analyses and process, and understanding the needs of customers totally and precisely.Six Sigma Method is a strategical approach that is both applicable in production and service sector which has the objective of lowering the cost, increasing the market share and advancing the customer satisfaction to upper levels; therefore covering a business as holistic.In this Project, Six Sigma methodology is applied in a hospital functioning in health sector by introducing the methodology to the instution. In the health sector where the good is the service, it is important to know that how the service is perceived by the customers. That?s why the hospitals need to be customer focused and should pay more attention to their services in comparision with past., in order to compete and survive. So that, hospitals need to measure the customer satisfaction frequently and are obliged to recover the service in which dissatisfaction arises.The purpose of this study is to determine how to increase the speed of communication, trust and process between the hospital and the patient by applying Six Sigma philosophy in studies which target increasing the customer satisfaction and eliminating the factors that cause dissatisfaction. This study has been tried to be concretized by reinforcing the Six Sigma implementation within Diyarbakır Public Hospital.
