Abstract (EN)
Different materials have been used as money for the exchange of goodsand services throughout the history. Valuable metals that were used asmoney earlier have been replaced by representative money and finally bybanknotes which are actually electronic papers. Just as in approximatelyeach sector, new developments are experienced in the payment systems bythe technological advancements.For instance, new products such as credit cards, internet bankingtransactions and electronic money are applied by the help of technology. Ithas been frequently started to discuss how such financial renovations arecomprehended, how they are used and what the affects of them in thecultural life.Therefore, today banks have to connect with consumers directly in orderto find out their needs and demands and have to follow changings at bankingsector. Banking sector has competed at national and intenational market asother sectors. The key to this competiton is the implemetation of properservice marketing and its tools.The main aim of this thesis is to analyse credit cards as a servicemarketing tool. We also have analysed credit cards in service marketing, forits parties, economical side and for after marketing processes.
