A research on the determination of green organizational behavior in the service sector

The main purpose of the research is to analyze the difference between the dimensions of green organizational savings, green behavior and green organizational sensitivity according to demographic variables and the relationship between the dimensions in the context of green organizational behavior of employees working in green star hotels operating in Antalya. The sample size of the study is 302. Within the scope of the research, applications were made to twenty accommodation facilities and feedback was received from six green star hotels. Questionnaire form was used as data collection tool. The scale consists of two parts, demographic questions and 11 propositions. In the questionnaire form, 5-point likert interval measurement expression was used. Out of 400 distributed questionnaires, 74 of them were found to be incomplete or inaccurate and were excluded from the study. The research continued with 326 survey data. In the study, Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis tests were applied to measure the relationship between green organizational behavior, green organizational savings, green behavior and green organizational behavior and demographic variables, and it was seen that there was a statistically significant difference between the averages of the participants. In addition, Spearman Correlation analysis was applied to test the relationship between the behavioral dimensions of the study. According to the correlation analysis, it was determined that there was a statistically significant and positive relationship between the behavioral dimensions of the participants. It is expected that the findings obtained as a result of the research will contribute to the literature on green organizational behavior.
