Abstract (EN)

This study addresses the classical problem of free will in the philosophy of religion within a holistic and monistic framework, drawing upon the "holographic universe" theory from modern physics. It is argued that the absolute unity mentioned in the study, while being monistic in essence, can ontically exist in both forms, as a part and as the whole. In this context, the study investigates whether eternal knowledge and the freedom of human actions can be harmoniously interpreted within the framework of cosmic wholeness and the multilayered nature of consciousness. To this end, first of all the concepts of holographic and simulative universes are explained in light of physics, neuroscience, and metaphysical literature, and the possibility of holographic wholeness is addressed. This theoretical ground is then interpreted through various perspectives and concepts within the free will debate. Consequently, the study concludes that the timelessly determined realm of possibilities inherent in absolute unity can grant each particular consciousness a limited yet genuine sphere of choice. This allows for the idea that humans can make their choices freely without contradicting absolute knowledge. This theologically and scientifically grounded idea, which we term "dependent freedom" within this paradigm, is intended to offer an alternative to fatalistic views.
