Abstract (EN)

In this study was conducted to investigate the milk and fertility yield characteristics of 222 Holstein and 80 head of Simmental cattle that were born and raised between 2016-2019 and calved between 2018 and 2020 in Sevkar livestock located in Karacabey district. General averages of 305 days milk yield, peak point and it is duration, peak milk yield and milk yield persistence respectively 9690,02±154,80 kg and 8934,01±193,24 kg, 55,84±1,20 days and 54,16±1,49 days, 36,85±0,53 kg and 32,86±o,66 kg and 5,23±0,31 and 6,37±0,39. Number of inseminations for the 1st pregnancy, 1st gestational age, service period, number of inseminations for the 2nd pregnancy, 2nd pregnancy age and the period of the two pregnancies which are reproductive characteristics, are 1.82 and 1.88 piece, 16.05 and 15.18 mo, 73.19 and 65.05 days, 2.94 and 2.55 piece, 32.03 and 28.57 and 15.75 ve 13.39 mo, respectively. According to the characteristics examined between the two breeds 305 days milk yield, peak point and it is duration, and milk yield persistence breed, lactation number as well as between breed and lactation number were found to be insignificant (P>0,05) but peak milk yield was found to be significant between breeds and number of lactations (P<0,05), and insignificant between breeds and lactation (P>0,05). According to the fertility yield of the two breeds 1st gestational age, service period, number of inseminations for the 2nd pregnancy, 2nd pregnancy age and the period of the two pregnancies were found to be significant (P<0,01), while number of inseminations for the 1st pregnancy were found to be insignificant (P>0,05).
