Abstract (EN)

As a result of the increasingly competitive environment, the importance of controlling the changing environment and adapting to this change is increasing. Companies focus on continuous improvement efforts in order to meet customer demands and needs. Nowadays, the most important issues for customers are product quality and service quality. Customers expect high quality, fast delivery and sufficient flexibility from companies. All these expectations force companies to make their goods and services competitive. One way to gain competitiveness is to increase the efficiency of production operations and provide flexibility according to customer requirements. These challenges can be addressed through a variety of improvement strategies. Customer satisfaction in terms of delivery, innovation and quality aspect can be achieved by implementing strategies such as total quality management and supply chain management. Hoshin Kanri strategic approach is a structural improvement effort. A successful organization's strategy begins with an assessment of its environment, setting a consistent vision and establishing a connection between them. Likewise, Hoshin Kanri begins with setting the company's vision and main goals. It focuses on realizing the change the company needs to achieve or maintain its market position. Hoshin Kanri strategic approach transforms total quality management from applying a set of quality control techniques to a whole methodology. The approach achieves this with its strategic planning and policy deployment. Within the scope of the study, the Hoshin Kanri strategic approach was examined in detail. After the review, the approach was used to reduce the supplier complaints of a company manufacturing for the health sector.
