Abstract (EN)
This thesis aims to understand the connection between the obligation to obey the law and civil disobedience with the help of Socrates' philosophical thoughts. Socrates' Defense questions the limits of obedience to law and how justice should be achieved. While emphasizing the importance of the obligation to obey the law, the thesis shows that civil disobedience represents the right to seek justice and voice demands for social change. In addition, concepts such as the social contract, the concept of gratitude and the idea of fair play are also discussed in this context. This thesis is an attempt to understand the relationship between the obligation to obey the law and civil disobedience and to discuss how to act to achieve justice.
