Bribe from the point of view of legal and managerial issues - reasons and solution proposals -

The bribe concept, which is known as a fact existing at almost every period in the society,means an illegal benefit in the shape of money and other earnings acquired by the civilservants by abusing their duties to supply public goods and works in the public.The persons who have the potential to accept the bribe are the competent employees. So itis possible to say that the bribe is an income of authority. The earning which is acquiredagainst the bribe is an income transfer not causing to any added value and production.Since the business and procedures are not transparent sufficiently, the responsibilityexplanation doesn?t work as required, it is prevented to reach the goals of ?servingeffectively in the public offices and transparent management.The unlawful action decreases as long as the countries develop, the transparency is ensuredin the public management and the citizenship conscious increases. Fighting against theunlawful action requires continuity and application in every field. The fighting against theunlawful action should have been accepted by the public.In this study, the status of the bribe and reasons were evaluated and it was focused on themeasures to be taken to prevent or reduce the happening of bribe by reviewing thenecessary actions and solution ways.
