Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out for determination effects of humic acid, Rhizobacteria (PGPR) and chemical fertilizers application on yield and yield components of some bread wheat (Triticum aestivum ssp. vulgare) varieties in Van ecological conditions. Altay-2000, Gelibolu, Saroz-95, Kırgız-95, Sultan-95, Karasu-90, Mizrak, Mufitbey and Yakar-99 cultivars were used in this experiment. The trial was performed in the research fields of Agricultural Faculty of Van Yüzüncü Yıl University according to the split plot design with randomized blocks in three replicates. The effects of humic acid, PGPR and chemical fertilizers application on plant height, spike growth period, harvest index, spikelet numbers per spike, maturity time, thousand seeds weight, spike length, spike numbers per m2, seed numbers per spike, grain yield as well as total yield were investigated. The spike growth period was 150-155 days, maturity time was 44.6-51.3 days, spike numbers per m2 were 327.6-630.3, spike height was 6.3-10.3 cm, grain numbers per spike were 40.3-67.6, total yield was 385.6-1209.0 kg/da, grain yield was 116.6-405 kg/da and thousand seeds weight was 32.6-46.6 g. The highest seed yield was obtained in Mızrak cultivar (405 kg/da) with PGPR application, while the lowest amount was observed in Gelibolu cultivar in control parcels (116.6 kg/da). Key words: Bread wheat, Humic acid, Chemical fertilizer, PGPR, Grain yield, Yield components
