An explanation of Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar's writings bibliography

In this study, the articles published in newspapers, Ceride-i Havadis, Tercüman-ı Hakikat, İkdam, , Millet, Sabah, Âti, İleri, Zaman, Son Telgraf, Yarın, Vakit, Milliyet, Cumhuriyet, Akşam, Vakit(Haftalık Ek), Hergün newspapers, ; Boşboğaz, Yeni Mecmua, Edebiyat-ı Umumiye Mecmuası, Âyine, Kadın Yolu, Yeni Kitap, Güneş, Konya Yeni Fikir Mecmuası, Muhit, Darülbedayi, Ülkü, Yeni Türk, Türk Tiyatrosu, Yarım Ay, Yeni Adam, Büyük Doğu, Ulus, Ankara Üniversitesi Dil Tarih Coğrafya Fakültesi Dergisi, Yeditepe magazines of Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar, who made significant contributions to Turkish literary life with his works in many different literary genres, were scanned and classified as chronological bibliography and annotated bibliography separated by subject. has been examined. This study covers the articles he published in newspapers from his first work in 1884 until his death in 1944. Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar, one of the important representatives of Turkish Literature in the Westernization Period, is one of the intellectuals who has a place in our history not only as a writer but also as a journalist who analyzed the social issues of his period well. As in his novels, he followed Ahmet Mithat Efendi's line in his journalistic life, and he focused on various issues such as the socioeconomic and sociocultural situation of the people, education, art, theater, culture, introduction of foreign cultures, language, women's issue, politics, state administration, military service, and current events. He expressed his ideas through his writings. As a result, it can be seen that Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar continued the teaching role he inherited from Ahmet Mithat Efendi with an attitude covering various subjects and disciplines throughout his journalism life. Thanks to his writings, it is seen that he has an attitude towards raising awareness and educating the society, and that he does not remain silent about the shocking historical events that the country is going through by making accurate inferences about current issues, which can also be seen as a reflection of the naturalistic attitude seen in his novels.
