Abstract (EN)
Electricity has gained parabolic importance since the beginning of the 21st century. In almost all areas, electricity is in use in various types or forms. Since different applications require different supply characteristics, electrical management has a significant role to play in handling this requirement. Accordingly, power electronics is a department of electrical and electronics engineering that evaluates and converts electricity into various forms. DC-DC converters have a wide range of application areas. There are many DC-DC conversion techniques; besides, each system may be suitable for a different type of converter. Resonant converters do have several advantages, like inherent zero voltage switching (ZVS) and zero-current switching (ZCS). Furthermore, they eliminate the need for snubber circuits. CLLC resonant converters are an attractive choice for EV charge applications thanks to their high efficiency characteristics and bi-directional energy flow capability. Adaptive converters must be controlled to provide stabilization under variable conditions. Each converter can adapt a variety of controlling strategies, just like different converter types can. The PI controller is a low-cost solution that works with the monitoring principle at the desired terminal. Next, in order to drive switches, several modulation types can be considered. A hybrid system simultaneously combined modulation strategy instead of switching between two modulations was followed to control the bi-directional CLLC resonant converter and verified with the MATLAB/Simulink environment.
