The analysis of the Parable Lokman in terms of values education

In this master thesis the subject, "The Analysis of The Parable Lokman in Terms of Values Education" is handled. The aim of the research is that analyzing the parable Lokman in terms of values education. Our main sources are the Quran and hadiths. The sources of tafseer, many books, thesis and articles were used. Studies in the field of religious education, psychology of religion, history of tafseer, moral and values education have been references. This study named "The Analysis of The Parable Lokman in Terms of Values Education" consists of an introduction and two parts. In the introduction part, information was given about the subject, importance, purpose, method and previous studies of the research. In the first part, the concepts of parable, value and values education are examined. In the second part of the study, the story of Lokman is explained in the context of related concepts. The definition and analysis each of the concepts in the parable has been made. Dictionary and term meaning of the words in the parable, synonyms and antonyms and usage areas in the Qur'an has been studied. The advice that Lokman gave to his son was expressed.
