Özet (EN)

The purpose of creation is to serve, and man owes his existence, life, livelihood and all kinds of goodness to the infinite mercy of Allah Almighty. For this reason, man must show gratitude and be thankful to his Creator at every stage of his life. However, the prevailing situation in most people is that they are ungrateful for these blessings. Indeed, this truth is expressed in the verse: "… Few of My servants are grateful." (34/Saba 13). In the Quran, Allah Almighty (swt) states the ingratitude of people in many verses. There are many reasons why people are ungrateful. In the first part of this thesis, we tried to determine what the concept of ingratitude is in the Quran and the reasons that create ingratitude. We gave a general outline of the story of Hz. Musa. In the second part, we explained the story of Hz. We have investigated the persistent ingratitude of the addressees in the story of Moses, despite the dozens of miracles and calamities they witnessed, in the context of verses. The fact that the ingratitude of the Israelites and Copts is mentioned so much in the Quran is not just a reminder or narration of an event that happened in the past. The main purpose is to ensure that lessons and lessons are learned from all these narrations.
