Hz. Omer's understanding of law

This study tries to reveal Omer's understanding of law by examining his life, his leadership, his suggestions for solutions to some problems that emerged during his time, and his perspective on events. It is understood that the jurisprudence that Omar implemented against some social events he encountered both during the Prophet's period, during the caliphate of the first Caliph Abu Bakr, and during his own caliphate was very effective and accurate in solving the problems encountered during his time. In our study, we tried to put forward a philosophy of perspective on today's problems by identifying Omer's jurisprudence and adopting a different perspective in order to emphasize the importance of these jurisprudence. Also, Omer; His jurisprudence, especially as a leader, in the field of public and private law, made him more than just a historical figure and contributed greatly to laying the foundations of the judicial heritage of Islam. The study we have done consists of four parts. The first chapter contains Omer's personal information. The second chapter contains the issues on which Omer bases his practice of law. The third chapter covers the foundations of Omer's jurisprudence. The fourth chapter includes Omer's jurisprudence in the fields of public and private law. In the conclusion, the results obtained are presented and it is underlined that more work needs to be done by emphasizing the importance of this issue in order to better understand the nature of ijtihad in Islamic Law and at the same time to ensure the enforcement of Islamic Law.
