Özet (EN)
This study, "Umm Salama and Her Narrations in the Sahih Hayn," about one of the wife of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), is significant for its exploration of the lives of female companions and their contributions to the field of hadith. Umm Salama, one of the Prophet's wives and a prominent female figure in Islamic history, is distinguished not only for being one of the first Muslims but also for her patience and selflessness during the migration. She continued to contribute to Islamic society with her knowledge even after the Prophet Muhammad's death. This study, which examines the life and narrations of Umm Salama, presents her biographical data within a chronological framework. Furthermore, her narrations found in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim are examined, and their thematic distribution and jurisprudential value are analyzed. The findings revealed that Umm Salama was not only the wife of the Prophet but also a reliable source of knowledge and an active companion.
