Abstract (EN)
In this study, we will discuss whether cupping, which has a very old history, is Sunnah or Customary. We will try to provide information about it. Cupping treatment was also applied in pre-Islamic societies in order to protect health and get treatment, and our Prophet (pbuh) personally had it done. Hz. Our Prophet had cupping treatment and recommended it to his ummah. The first part of our study is devoted to the history and general benefits of cupping. In the second part, hadiths about cupping and the subjects mentioned in fiqh books are included. In the third chapter, in the light of the Hadiths, based on how it is understood by scholars and how it is included in the books, is it sunnah or customary? A judgment will be made as to whether it is.
