A new method for rapid seismic performance evaluation

When we consider the earthquakes that happen in our country and other countries in the World, many people have lost their lifes and more and more have been homeless, since our country is on a fault line, sooner or later it is always likely that there might be an earthquake with a big magnitude, our previous ecperience have shown that in case at any earthquake, especially in megacities which me on the fault lines, will have may lost life and there will be a big economic recession in the country. For these reasons, all of construction stock already existed be examined and the earthquake performance must immediately be clarified. Because of these reasons there are studies to determine the quickly done earthquake performance. One of the studies is "PERA method". İn this present study PERA method has been accelerated by making some simplifications and the results that held by this acceleration and the result that are held by "rbte method" have been compared.
