In this study, the content and method of Ibn Allan's book named Dalil al-Falihin li-Turuq Riyad us-saliheen was tried to be determined. In addition, it was aimed to reveal the place and importance of this work in the world of science. In our thesis, it is aimed to get an idea about Ibn Allan's hadithism in terms of commentary. Ibn Allan was born in Mecca in 996/1588. Ibn Allan, who did not leave the region where he was born throughout his life, passed away in the same region in 1057/1648. The author, whose works are used today as in the past, wrote works in almost all branches of Islamic sciences such as hadith, tafsir, and creed. One of those works is Dalil al-Falihin li-Turuq Riyad us-saliheen which was written as the first commentary on Nawawi's (d. 665/1267) Riyad us-saliheen min Hadith Sayid al-Mursalin. Therefore, this commentary is of great importance in the hadith literature. In this work, Ibn Allan followed the narrations in an understandable style and commented on the rules of the Shafii school of which he was a member. Our work consists of two parts. In the first part, some basic information about Ibn Allan's personality, the environment he lived in, his scientific personality and hadith, as well as Nawawi and Riyad us-saliheen were discussed. In the second part, the sources that Ibn Allan used while writing his Dalil al-Falihin were tried to be determined and the content and method of the commentary are explained with examples.
