Abstract (EN)
This thesis is an attempt to study Ibn Arabî epistemology in the context of knowledge-power relations. Firstly, it focuses on his conception of the cosmos which based on "Divine Manifestation". At this stage, selecting this ontological link between Allah and the cosmos as the baseline, it tracks how knowledge is grounded in Ibn Arabî's thought. Secondly, it deals with the principle of "unrepeatability" in the cosmos and discusses its epistemological consequences. By doing so, it points out how reason knows things and delimits them, and the relations between this delimitation and production of "repetition". Then it concludes that, the production of repeatable knowledge and its fixation is a process of "interpretation". In final chapter, it suggests to answer to those questions, how interpretation is produced and which interpretation is fixed and repeated, through power relations. In order to do this, it introduces the interpreters (ulamâ) and the rulers (sultân), who were targeted by Ibn Arabî, then it focuses on the role of ulamâ-sultân relations in producing knowledge.
