In the conclusion part, it has been concluded that the reason why the information about İbn Ishaq's family, whose date is relatively distant to him, is known while the information about him is limited is because of the negative effects of the scholars contemporary to him. When we look at the general studies done in Turkey, it is seen that they were prepared on İbn Ishaq's works and their contents. Since the majority of those who prepared these studies were experts in the field of hadith, İbn Ishaq's works were studied like a hadithist, forgetting that he was an Islamic historian. Therefore, in the studies conducted, it has been concluded that the narrations and method of him were misjudged. Keywords: İbn Ishaq, Siyar, Maghazi, The History Of İslam.
