The theological evaluation of Ibn Taymiyyah's criticisms of Christianity (In the context of al-Cevâbü's-Sahîh)

The science of kalam, which talks about the issues of divinity, prophecy and the hereafter, aims to prove the belief principles of Islam with rational and rational evidence and to remove any doubts that may arise about these principles. The science of kalam not only defends the creed of Islam by responding to the criticism of Islam under the guidance of reason and revelation, but also contributes significantly to the formation of a solid and sound belief by increasing the belief, which is an imitation of man, to the level of verification. Ibn Taymiyya is a special person who has an important place in the history of Islamic thought and left a mark in this field, with his unique critical personality and his works in many fields. He did not only make systematic and detailed criticisms to theologians, philosophers and mystics, but also criticized the People of the Book on various subjects when appropriate. Ibn Taymiyya's work "al-Cevâbü's-sahîh li men beddele dîne'l-Mesîh" is an important work that refutes the claims of the People of the Book and especially the Christians. In the study, the criticisms of Ibn Taymiyya towards the Christians were examined in terms of theology and as a result, it was seen that the claims made against Islam were unfounded, with mental and transplant evidence.
