The projudice and methods of Ibni Haldun and Francis Bacon

Dr. Adnan ÖMERUSTAO?LU Yrd. Doç. Dr. Sebahattin ÇEVİKBAŞ Firstly, while searching A scientis who is searching must based her or his search true and valid method. This method is a scientifich method. Scientifich method is the whole of mental and verbal processes which is used on checking natural powers and understanding of universe. Our problem is that: What is the thing which a scientist must be careful while searching. We are trying to answers this problem like that a scientist should make research with reasonable and true method leaving aside all of prejudices and wrong opinions. İbni Haldun considers the history as a science which is based on observation, searc and study. He is against to storytelling and transfying history. According to him, we must search the reason of social events in themselves. The think which mislead the historicians is that forgetting the changes of behaviours and sutiations of society. According Francis Bacon, we must use the induction method which is valid one for checking nature and controlling of natural powers. According to him, the scientist must be collector, set-up maker, judger, searcher. According Bacon, besides these, mind which must not be captivated by doctrines that have seized itself, is free. As a result, According to İbni Haldun and Francis Bacon, the scientist must stay away from prejudices and all of the emotional indination for making an objective research.
