Incellect and heart in works of Ibnü'l Arabi

Throughout the history of humanity, the existence of man and what is the most important feature of his existence have been questioned. Man has been both the subject and the object of these researches regarding the material and spiritual universe. Man's effort to question continued until he received satisfactory answers. İbnü'l Arabî aims to find systematic answers by questioning the issues that preoccupy his mind and to turn this into a philosophy of life. His works show the source of the authentic thoughts of Ibn Arabi, who sought solutions to metaphysical and physical problems, and the route he followed.Based on his works and thoughts, when Ibn Arabi is mentioned, unity of existence comes to mind. Although he did not use this idiom in his works, it was Ibn Arabi himself who first systematized the philosophy of unity of existence and brought it to the top. Although this idea, which was carried to the top, was mentioned in the first part of the thesis, the main point that attracted attention and aroused excitement was the concepts of mind and heart. When the works are read within the framework of mind and heart, it is seen that everything comes into existence in accordance with the relationship between mind and heart, and the end of the whole order will end in the mind and heart. Although the concepts of mind and heart seem to address two different areas, its purpose is to point to the only one. In the works of İbnü'l Arabî, it is thought that the mind and heart will be the key to new doors both in the philosophy of knowledge and in the philosophy of love. At the same time, the basis of people's greatest psychological and philosophical problems consists in the apparent wars between mind and heart. If a person knows the relationship between them at the required level and applies it to his practical life, he will trust his mind and plant seeds of love in his heart. When the mind and heart are cut off from each other and become the ruler and rule alone, a person will turn into dead-end streets and be trapped there.
