Asbab al Nuzul in the commentary of Ibn al Jawzi

In this study, titled ?Asbab al Nuzul in the Commentary of Ibn al Jawzi? it has been studied the approach of commentator in his exegesis Zad al Masir from the different aspects.During the study, we benefitted from The Holy Quran, the books on asbab al nuzul, hadis collections etc.This thesis consists of an introduction and three chapters.In the first chapter, we tried to point out commentator?s method in the narrating asbab al nuzul and his style in introducing these narrations.In the second one, it has been evaluated his approach to asbab al nuzul narrations.In the last chapter, it has been analyzed his understanding of asbab al nuzul.It ends with a general analyze.
