Cultural elements in the interior

According to the results of research on cultural elements in interior spaces in the context of art history, various definitions have been made on space. In this context, the effects of the place associated with culture on human life were examined and the traces it left in line with individual and social phenomena were focused on. The literature review focused on the association of space with art and periodic differences. By establishing a link between the past and the present, objects and structures expressing cultural elements were examined in the context of art and space. The work was associated with the concepts of interior culture, object and belonging and was visually interpreted in this context. Visual interpretations made using shape, color, texture and linear forms are the product of artistic imagination. By establishing connections between art history and geography, the relationships created by the concept of belonging and traveler observations were combined with object research and examined with plastic analyses. When we focus on the details of the sample paintings, we see that they were made with the oil painting technique used to reflect the atmosphere of the interior. Reflections of the interior were created using emotion, light, color, shadow and form, without breaking the connection with the past. Each painting offers an artistic expression of the objects, structures and atmosphere that bear the traces of experiences. For example, in one painting the bull figure represents power, while in the other the wooden structure of the interior and the traces of life are depicted in detail. The emotional atmosphere of the space is successfully expressed with color tones, textures and lines. Each painting tells a visual story about the place's relationship with the past and its cultural bond. These works not only convey the experiences of the interior to the audience, but also, inspired by art history, present cultural elements and the effects of the past in a meaningful way through painting.
