Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effect of the fins placed in the microchannel on the flow and heat transfer was investigated, numerically. In a single microchannel with rectangular cross section, six dual rectangular fins were placed in different layouts. The hydraulic diameter of the microchannel was kept constant and the length, width of the fins placed inside and the angle between the horizontal axis were determined as parameters. The water were selected as basic fluid and the effect of volumetric concentration of nanofluids (Al2O3 (0% to 0,4%)) and CuO (0% and 0,4%)) on fluid flow and heat transfer were investigated. As a result of the calculation, optimum volumetric concentrations and geometrhy were optimized with Response Surface Optimization method for the levels of different parameters and Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis was performed at different flow rates. CFD analysis was performed with Ansys Fluent 18.1 commercial software.
