Abstract (EN)
Interior Architecture/Design discipline is a profession that mainly includes project design, organization and implementation process. In this respect, Design Studio courses have an important role in Interior Architecture/Design education, which aims to teach design processes to students in a certain period. Whwn teaching these processes, different learning outcome is expected every semester and a mark is given by evaluating the product that develops at the end of each semester. The grade allows student to compare himself or herself to other students and evaluate himself. The aim of this thesis is to investigate the criteria used when evaluating of the interior design which is the product of the design process in a comprehensive and systematic way in the Design Studio courses. In addition, it is aimed to contribute to Interior Architecture/Design education by creating a new rubric proposal that will make the grade to be given to the student transparent, fair, questionable and impartial at the end of the design studio courses. In this direction, the knowledge and opinions of the lecturers conducting design studio courses at different universities were obtained, an exemplary jury was observed and the evaluation criteria used by the jury were determined and the rubric proposal was formed by analyzing the obtained information. The jury members was asked to use the rubric in two different Design Studio groups and their opinions were determined. The rubric was taken its final shape by making improvements on it.
