Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this study is to examine the psychometric characteristics of Turkish form of the Internal Family Systems Scale. The psychometric characteristics of the scale was examined with explanatory and confirmatory factor analysis, material analysis and reliability studies, the methods of calculating the internal consistency coefficient, and test-retest. For the research, data from 300 individuals from Istanbul, Ankara and Çorum which are among the non-clinical area, who were between the age of 18 and 50 (M=31.12, Ss=8.74) was collected. The participants were applied; Sociodemographic Information Form, Brief Symptom Invenroty, Intolerance of Uncertainity Scale, Internal Family Systems (IFS) scales. As a result of the explanatory and confirmatory studies carried out for IFA, it was understood that the scale was two-dimentional as in its original form. There are qualities of the self and self-leadership. The Cronbach alpha internal consistency coefficient turned out to be .93 for IFS. For its sub-dimentions, it was found as .91 for qualities of self and .90 for the self-leadership. The Cronbach's alpha for test-retest the test was .92 The data obtained from the scales were examined with Liseral. After having researched the test-retest credibilities which were carried out by the researchers of IFS, it was understood that the Turkish version of the scale was at a sufficient level, and was valid and credible.
