Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study was to map quantitative trait locus for some grain related traits of einkorn wheat (Triticum monococcum spp, monococcum). To this end, parents and 135 F8 recombinant inbred lines (RILs) obtained through single seed descent from cross ID432 and ID347 were sown according to randomized blocks design with three replications during the growing seasons of 2018-2019 in Adana location. Of the 22,681 SilicoDArT, 21,201 SNP markers, a total of 2888 SilicoDArT and SNP markers were used for map construction. As a result of the study, the resulting genetic linkage map had 2888 SilicoDArT and SNP in 563 loci mapped onto seven linkage groups and covered 1089.49 cM with a mean interval distance of 1.93 cM between the locus. Regarding the grain properties examined, 21 markers for grain circularity (CS), 20 for grain length / width ratio (LWR), 18 for distance between length and width intersection and center of gravity (DS), 18 for thousand grain weight (TGW), 16 for grain length (L) and 1 for grain area size (AS) were found significant at the level of P <.00001. No DNA markers were detected for grain width (W). It was determined that the marker SNP207 was important for the investigated AS, CS, DS, L, LWR, PL and TGW characteristics. Apart from that, 11 SNP markers were determined to be important with CS, DS, L, LWR, PL and TGW properties. As a result, it was determined that there were two QTL regions controlling the grain size in einkorn wheat, the first of which was on 3A chromosome between 130 and 1147 cM, and the other was between 39 and 51 cM on chromosome 6A. Based on the results obtained from this research, it has been concluded that verifying the determined QTLs and the usability of these QTLs in einkorn and other wheat breeding studies are important in future studies.
