Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted to investigate the level of the compatibility four local apricot variesties (Şalak-Apricose, Beyaz Kayısı, Ordubat and Teberze) with rootstock called as "Zerdali". For this aim, grafting was carried out according to the method of "Dormant T Eye Graft". 6 and 12 months after grafting, samples were taken for examine microscopically and macroscopically, respectivelly. It was determined that the structure of the callus between the scion and the rootstock was well-developed; necrotic areas was localized; cambial differentatios and continuity was constituted in microscopic investigation. In macroscopic examination, rootstock and scion was cut lengtwise through the central location all of the graft combination. Development and construction of grafting place in the shell and wood of both scion and rootstock were examined with IKI (Iodine Potassium Iodide) solution for staining degree of combination tissues. Resolving problems related to studied apricot varieties which have a considerable regional economy is also important. According to our knowledge, scientific researches about this topic is not available in the region. Especially, the lack of sufficient scientific data about the fruit sapling production process of Şalak apricot variety under the regional conditions also makes the work worthwhile. As a result of the study, all grafting combination on rootstock "Zerdali" was found to be compability in the early period.
